History

The Bed and Breakfast Filangieri is located in the heart of Naples in one of its most elegant shopping streets, Via Filangieri.

It is the brainchild of three brothers: Luca, Leonardo and Lorenzo. The three beautiful rooms in the B&B Filangieri are, in fact, named after them.

The Buonanno brothers, who have been living and working in this very same street all their lives, have decided to create a guesthouse where hospitality and comfort are the key words.

The B&B is located on the first floor of a stunning historical building and it is at the junction of the most popular streets, loved by both Neapolitans and tourists visiting this unforgettable city.

The B&B is walking distance from:

Piazza Plebiscito

One of the biggest squares in Naples and in Italy, it often hosts big events. It is surrounded by important historical buildings such as the Basilica di San Francesco di Paola, the Royal Palace and the Palazzo della Prefettura.

San Carlo Theatre

The Royal Theatre of San Carlo is the lyric theatre of Naples and one of the most prestigious worldwide. It can seat over 2000 spectators.

Castel dell’Ovo

The oldest castle and one of the most important features of the Gulf of Naples. The castle’s name comes from a legend about the Roman poet Virgil who is believed to have hidden a magical egg into the foundations to support the entire fortification.

 Borgo Marinari

The Borgo is an enchanting neighbourhood on the Isle of Megaride connected to the mainland via an artificial isthmus. Our guests will have opportunity to enjoy the many bars and restaurants there, which open every night all year around creating a unique atmosphere.

When you choose the B&B Filangieri you know you are in the heart of Naples because you can feel its beat!
